Brittany Johnson has a passion for equipping others with the tools and skills to break the cycle of poverty, and she is driven by the desire to see everyone have the same opportunity to thrive. She co-founded Drink Local Think Global in January 2016 with this goal in mind, and she currently serves as the director of marketing. Drink Local Think Global is a nonprofit organization that raises money to provide clean water in developing countries by engaging the craft beer industry. As of February 2018, they have raised $115,000 and built nine wells in Ethiopia and the Central African Republic.

Brittany received her B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Marketing from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. She currently lives in Omaha, Nebraska, where she is the event planner for Defy Ventures, a nonprofit organization that provides business training, entrepreneurship, and job readiness to people with criminal histories.

In her free time, you’ll find her with family and friends, doing something outdoors, cooking, or planning a trip to an exciting new location!
