December 2, 2018Dina Becirovic is an Accreditation Coordinator at Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy, where she oversees the stem cell transplant accreditation process from start to finish for various blood and marrow transplant programs and cord blood banks. Becirovic is an Adjunct Professor at the College of Saint Mary’s, Medical Interpreting Department. She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, and Spanish. Becirovic completed her Masters of Public Health degree at Creighton University. She is currently enrolled in Masters of Arts, Language Teaching program with an emphasis on TESOL.
Becirovic had an active role in several hereditary cancer research publications alongside Dr. Henry T. Lynch. Currently, Becirovic is working on a study that hopes to illuminate perceptions Muslim women have on health and wellbeing. Her passions are education, sociolinguistics specifically the role language plays in shaping one’s identity, health, and political science. Her hobbies are traveling, a good cup of coffee with a good book.
