April 1, 2019Mr. Moore is a national public speaker and the founding Chief Executive Officer of More Than Just A Village Academy Inc. (MTJAVA) with more than 15 years of healthcare/nursing consulting and community engagement experience. While serving as a Quality & Process Improvements consultant he examines current business and municipal practices in relation to industry best practices to develop strategic improvement plans.
Following a near-fatal motor vehicle, Mr. Moore has championed youth services and community healthcare. With a deep desire to help area youth reach their full potential while helping local communities “heal”, Antonio embarked on creating an environment in which youth would become an integral part of creating sustainable community change by the application of education through service learning.
As CEO of More Than Just A Village Academy Inc., he has not only promoted Civic Responsibility, Academic Achievements, and Personal Accountability throughout communities in Nebraska, Iowa, Louisiana and Colorado, he has lead MT JAVA to its position as one of the fastest growing and most impactful, after-school, youth leadership program providers in the Omaha Public School system with on-time graduation rates exceeding 96%. He has developed a progressive curriculum focused on “Youth Voice” through civic engagement that has made positive community-wide social and economic changes. Additionally, Mr. Moore has promoted one of the most forward-thinking approaches to S.T.E.M. learning in after-school learning environments through the use of environmental and therapeutic explorations of hands-on service learning.
Additionally, Mr. Moore serves on local and national nurse advisory boards for Purdue Universities (formerly Kaplan University School of Nursing), Mayoral appointee to the Omaha City Parks & Recreations Board, helped develop the Afterschool Program Provider Standards (initiated by the Mayor’s Office on Education through Collective for Youth Development), Special Committee Member to Omaha Chamber of Commerce’s Creative Mornings Global Initiative, Bellevue University’s Outstanding Alumni Award recipient and a soon to be published author of the autobiographically based book “The Boy who grew into a Monster & learned to become a Man”. In addition to the aforementioned, Mr. Moore has continued to serve others through the many motivational speeches on perseverance and overcoming personal tragedies given across the nation.
